Shuttle boat

Is the 5.5-kilometre walking route a little too long? Take the Alluminous shuttle boat! The boat takes you from Esplanade to Hortus, approximately halfway along the route. From there, you can continue your walk on foot. Alternatively, you can walk the first half of the route and take the boat back. This way, you can enjoy the entire route over two evenings, at your own pace.

The shuttle boat operates between Esplanade and Hortus.

Tickets:

Tickets are available at the information desks near both piers.
Payment is by card only.
A ticket is valid for a one-way trip to the other side of the Weerwater. The boat is not a sightseeing cruise.
Unfortunately, reservations are not possible, including online.
Tickets are available from one hour before the next departure.

Departure times from Hortus:

7:30 PM

Ticket prices:

Adults (12 years and older): €5
Children (3–11 years): €2.50
Children (0–2 years): free*
* Children up to 3 years old travel free when seated on an adult’s lap.
